Probate.Auction Process

Our step by step guide...

Step 1

Contact Probate.Auction to discuss your property and we will carry out a free and full auction appraisal of your property. A free RICS Valuation may also be provided on request.

Step 2

Having agreed a reserve price with you, we will then liaise with your solicitors / conveyancer’s to  assist with a legal pack, AML documents and we will prepare marketing materials.

Step 3

Probate.Auction’s official marketing period begins three weeks prior to the auction date and includes listings on all main online portals, open house viewing slots, free legal pack downloads and registration for bidders.

Step 4

On auction day as soon as the bidding has reached or surpassed the reserve price the property will be sold. Immediate exchange of contracts takes place and the completion period begins.

As the Personal Representative seller there is nothing for you to then do, except wait for completion to take place.

As auctioneers, we liaise with both sets of solicitors following exchange of contacts and make the process as smooth as possible.
